As a
Kitchen Support Expert
, you'll play an significant role behind the scenes, helping our culinary and Food & Beverage teams deliver a seamless experience every day.
n
From maintaining spotless kitchen areas and equipment to supporting food preparation and stewarding operations, your attention to detail will help keep everything running smoothly.
n
As part of our
pre-opening team
, you'll also have the unique opportunity to help establish the standards, routines and culture of AC by Marriott Gold Coast from day one.
n
What You'll Do
n
In this hands-on role, you will:
n
n
Maintain clean, organised and safe kitchen and back-of-house areas.
n
Wash, sanitise and store crockery, cutlery, glassware, utensils and kitchen equipment.
n
Operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
n
Support basic food preparation and kitchen organisation when required.
n
Assist across kitchen, Food & Beverage and associate dining areas.
n
Transport equipment, supplies and kitchen items throughout the hotel.
n
Follow food safety, workplace health and safety, and security procedures.
n
Support your fellow AC Family Members and contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.
n

What We're Looking For

You'll ideally bring:

A team-first mindset and willingness to help wherever needed.

Outstanding attention to cleanliness, organisation and detail.

The ability to work confidently in a busy, fast-paced environment.

Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends, evenings and public holidays.
n
Previous kitchen, stewarding, cleaning or hospitality experience is advantageous, but not essential.

Qualifications

Education:
No formal qualifications required.
Experience:
Previous hospitality, kitchen support or stewarding experience is beneficial but not essential.
Certifications:
Food Safety Certificate
