Job Description
Orange City Council is looking for a skilled Water Treatment Engineer to join our Water and Sewer section. In this role you will be a key player in optimising our water and sewage treatment processes to meet compliance goals and manage capital improvement projects.

We are searching for someone who is ready to make a positive impact. To be considered for this role, you should have:
n
n
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (ideally process or chemical), Science, or associated discipline
n
General Construction Induction Card (White Card) or the ability to acquire
n
Current Class C driver's licence
n
Experience working in a water or wastewater treatment environment relating to process improvement and optimisation
n
Established knowledge and understanding of water and wastewater treatment and pumping procedures, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
n
Knowledge and understanding of SCADA control systems
n
Experience in water and wastewater treatment projects, particularly the planning phase
n

From $99,832 - $108,817 (excluding superannuation)
