Experience in General Practice is not required but a willingness to learn, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.
About the Position n
Our ideal candidate will have experience with Chronic Disease Management and strong interpersonal skills. They will need to be highly motivated with a sound background in patient care, and be able to adapt to an ever-changing workplace and industry.
Nursing tasks are varied and examples include: n

Chronic Disease Management
n




Triage and management of acutely unwell patients
n
Immunisations of children and adults
n
Wound care
n
Health assessments including workplace medicals
n
Assisting with minor procedures
n
Results notification and patient education
n
Cold chain management
n
Requirements n
n
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse is essential
n
Availability to work full days (8:30am-4:30pm) with Monday and Friday availability preferrable
n
Previous experience working in general practice and/or emergency preferable but not essential
n
The ability to work both independently when required and cohesively within a team
environmentDedication
to the provision of the highest standard of nursing care
n
Proficient computer skills (experience with Best Practice not essential but highly regarded)
n
Strong communication and time management skills
