Job Description
We are seeking a qualified CPA to join our team on a part time basis.

Initially, the role will require one day per week working from our Mulgrave office, with the possibility of increasing to two days per week down the line.
n
This position combines day-to-day accounting responsibilities with financial planning and compliance and relationship management with the ATO, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with a growing technology company.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Process payroll for both salaried employees and contractors
n
Accounts payable and receivable
n
Preparation and lodgement support for BAS and other ATO obligations
n
Liaise with the Australian Taxation Office when required
n
Assist with R&D; Tax Incentive claims and supporting documentation
n
Assist with grant applications and government reporting requirements
n
Prepare cash flow forecasts and financial projections
n
Work closely with the CEO to prepare financial reports and planning documents
n
Support end-of-year accounting processes and liaise with external accountants where required
n
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: n
n
3+ years experience
n
Strong working knowledge of Xero
n
Experience in bookkeeping and payroll administration
n
Experience dealing with the ATO and Australian tax compliance
n
Experience/Knowledge
of preparing cash flow forecasts and financial projections
n
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
n
Strong written and verbal communication skills
n
The ability to work independently while collaborating closely with management
n
