We're looking for an
Entry-Level Software Developer
to join a digital transformation program within the Northern Territory Government. This is a contract opportunity through to
12 February ****
, based in
Darwin, NT
, supporting the development, maintenance and operation of secure digital platforms. You'll work alongside experienced technical professionals, gaining exposure to software development, systems administration and ICT operations.

Requirements

nWhat You'll Don
n
Assist with the development, maintenance and support of applications.
n
Support development, test and production environments.
n
Assist with system configuration, patching, monitoring and routine maintenance.
n
Support application deployments, releases and environment updates.
n
Assist with user access and permissions.
n
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide operational ICT support.
n
Assist with testing and defect resolution.
n
Maintain technical documentation and follow ICT security standards.
n
Work closely with senior technical staff and broader project teams.
n
What You'll Bringn
n
A qualification or near-completion qualification in
IT, Computer Science, Software Development




or a related field.
n
Basic software development, coding, scripting or application support experience.
n
Some experience supporting ICT systems or technical environments.
n
Familiarity with
Windows and/or Linux
operating systems.
n
Understanding of software development lifecycles and ICT operations.
n
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
n
Good written and verbal communication skills.
n
Ability to follow established processes, security requirements and technical standards.
n
A collaborative, positive and professional approach.
