Early Childhood Co-Educator - Sessional 4YO Kindergarten starting **** n
South Kingsville Preschool is a sessional, stand alone, community-based kindergarten which offers a specialised early learning curriculum in a family friendly environment. South Kingsville Preschool values family engagement and community connections and is based in a well-established Community Centre.

The kindergarten has a solid focus on sustainability and the benefits of nature play. The successful candidate will believe in the educational and development power of a play based and emergent curriculum. They will also believe in the core principle of respect and care for people and for the world.

We seek a
Cert 111 or Diploma Qualified early childhood educator
to join our
four-year-old program.
n
The role will be
18hours
over a 3
-day week (Tuesday 7:45am - 4pm, Wed 9am -11:30am and Friday 7:45am - 4pm).
This position will start on 27/1/2027. It is paidat a VECTEA *****) Award salary. The level will depend on qualifications and experience.

There may be opportunities for more hours.

Your responsibilities will include:
n

Interacting with children to gain insights into their strengths, interests, skills, and knowledge.
n




Contribute to the planning cycle and record keeping of the children.
n
Work together with colleagues to provide safe, supportive, inclusive, and educationally stimulating environments for all children.
n
n
Qualifications & experience
n
Certificate 3 or Diploma Early Childhood qualification approved or recognised by ACECQA
n
A current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
n
Up-to-date First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis management training.
n
Sound knowledge of the NQF, EYLF, Child Protection, Child Safe Standards and Regulations and law
n
