We are looking for a motivated and hands‐on
Assistant Accountant
to join our growing finance team.
n
Working closely with the
Finance Manager
, you will play an important role in keeping the day‐to‐day finance function running smoothly while assisting with AP function, month‐end reporting, reconciliations and improving processes as the business continues to grow.
n

About the role n
Your day‐to‐day responsibilities will include:
n
n
Completing daily
bank reconciliations
and investigating discrepancies
n
Assisting with
supplier invoice processing and AP
n
Helping with overflow of the
Accounts Payable inbox
n
Preparing and processing
intercompany on‐charges
n
Reviewing and reconciling
general ledger balances
n
Assisting with
month‐end balance sheet reconciliations
n
Supporting the Finance Manager with month‐end reporting and accounting tasks
n
Following up outstanding items and ensuring accounts are kept up to date
n
Assisting with improving finance processes, systems and controls
n
Providing general accounting support across the wider business as required
n
About you n
We are looking for someone who is:
n
n
Experienced in an accounting or finance support role
n
Confident with reconciliations and day‐to‐day accounting tasks
n
Organised, reliable and able to manage competing priorities
n
Detail‐oriented with a robust focus on accuracy
n
Comfortable working independently but enjoys being part of a team
n
Keen to learn and develop their accounting skills
n
Proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
n
Previous experience with
Xero
would be highly regarded
n
n
You will work closely with the Finance Manager and have the opportunity to gain exposure to a broad range of accounting and finance functions within a growing business.
n
