Peer Mentor
and play a meaningful role supporting children and young adults with disabilities to achieve their NDIS goals.
n
As a Peer Mentor, you'll act as a positive role model, encouraging participants to build confidence, independence, and life skills. Whether it's supporting someone to attend an appointment, participate in a community activity, or grow their independence at home, your support will truly matter.
n
What You'll Do:
n
n
Support participants in their homes and communities to achieve their NDIS goals
n
Encourage independence and community engagement
n
Drive or accompany participants to appointments and social activities
n
Be a trusted support, responding to needs, incidents, or wellbeing concerns
n
Communicate effectively with our team and attend Peer Mentor meetings
n
Collaborate with a dedicated, values-driven team
n
n
What We're Looking For:
n
Essential:
n
n
Your own car, mobile phone, and a full Victorian driver's licence
n
Full comprehensive car insurance
n
A current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one
n
Cleared NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain one
n
n
Nice to have:
n
n
Experience or understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder
n
Great communication and interpersonal skills
n
Availability for ***** hours per week
n
