Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Assembler

Casual position with ongoing full-time hours

Monday to Friday | 7:00am - 3:30pm (some flexibility available)

nAbout the Role n
n
You will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and sub-assemblies while working from engineering drawings and established work instructions within a team-based production workplace.
n
nKey Responsibilities n
n
n
n
Assemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies to engineering drawings and specifications.
n
n
Interpret and follow technical drawings, work instructions and quality standards.
n
n
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
n
n
Conduct quality checks and inspections throughout the assembly process.
n
n
Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets.
n
n
Maintain a safe, clean and organised work area.
n
n
Assist with testing,



troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities as required.
n

nAbout You n
n
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
n
n
n
n
Previous manufacturing, production or assembly experience.
n
n
Mechanical aptitude and confidence using hand and power tools.
n
n
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (desirable).
n
n
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
n
n
Reliable work ethic and positive team attitude.
n
n
Trade qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
n
n
n
