We are currently seeking dedicated Support Workers with specific experience in Complex Behaviors or High-Intensity Clinical Complex Care to join our growing team in Western Sydney.
n
n
This will require someone with experience working with
Forensic participants
to work with male and females in the
Campbelltown
area.
n
n
The successful person will need to be onboarded this week to start 15th October.
n
n
At Therapy Care, we serve communities throughout Western Sydney, focusing primarily on the Penrith - Blacktown and Bankstown regions (including surrounding areas within a 30-minute drive). To ensure seamless support for our clients, our team members are expected to work flexibly across these coverage zones.

nThe Role n

Shift Structure
:
Initialshiftstypically
2–6 hours. This allows you to build a genuine relationship and reputation with participants.
n
n
Multiple participants in the area that would benefit from your support.
n
n
Growth
: As youestablishtrust, there is significant opportunity to fill your schedule with multiple shifts throughout the daywith shifts varying in times between6amto10pm.
n
n
Environment:
Support ranges from
2:1behavioralshiftto
1:1personalcare in private homes,
community access, day programs,transport services,or SIL environments.
n
n
Rate:
L2 P1 - $***** Cert 3 in individual supports or community service
n
n
L2 P2 - $***** Cert 4 or higher in individual supports or community service
n
n
n
n
Requirements & Experienceincludes but is not limited to
:
n
n
n
n
Expertiseworkingwith
participants with extreme behaviors like schizophrenia.
n
n
Experience with Daily PersonalCareand DailyLiving SupportActivities.
n
n
Meal preparation that aligns with special dietary needs (diabetic, low sodium, high protein, sauce based).
n
n
Competency in manual handling.
n
n
Experience administering medication using a plan, webster pack, crushing etc.
n
n
Robust emotional resilience and de-escalation skills.
n
n
Ability
tomaintainaccurateclinical
documentation,
riskassessments,and
reporting.
n
n
Ability to communicate
withparticipantswhere
they may be limited in ability.
n
n
Time Management & Organization.
n
n
Working Independently, Under Pressure and strong understanding of reporting guidelines.
n
n
Engaged clients in physical and cognitive activities to promote wellbeing.
n
n

Mandatory Criteria

MinimumCert III in Individual Support or Disability.
n
n
NDIS Worker Screening Check &4 xNDIS Orientation Modules.
n
n
WWC – Paid employee check.
n
n
Safety:Current First Aid & CPR certificates.
n
n
Other inductions and training asrequired.

Valid Driver's License andaninsured

with community access or to reach appointments is essential
