We are seeking an experienced
APS6 Quality Officer
to support quality outcomes within an Early Childhood team focused on assisting children under nine with developmental delays or disability and their families.
Key responsibilities include;
Conduct quality assurance and quality control activities relating to early childhood planning and decision-making.
Provide technical, operational and policy advice on complex matters.
Mentor and support team members to improve quality, consistency and decision-making.
Analyse trends and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Engage with a range of stakeholders to provide guidance and build capability.
Manage escalated matters and provide effective resolutions.
To be considered for this role you will demonstrate;
Experience interpreting and applying legislation, policies and procedures.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
MS Excel and data analysis skills.
Proven experience coaching and mentoring staff.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Desirable Experience
Qualifications in Allied Health, Education, Disability, or a related discipline.
Experience in early childhood planning and/or supporting children with disability.
At least two years' planning experience in a government or disability services workplace.
