Corrections Victoria is a business unit of the Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS).

What you will do
As rostering officer, you will plan staff coverage and keep rosters accurate.
You will work on site in Ravenhall across a rotating 14-day roster, including weekends and public holidays.
You will:
prepare and publish
accurate
fortnightly rosters up to six weeks ahead
adjust daily rosters to cover leave, unexpected absences and changing staffing needs
keep employee records
secure
and update staff details in TimeTarget
check timesheets, approve outstanding entries and prepare
clear
reports
give staff and managers
practical
rostering advice, resolve issues and refer complex matters to your team leader.
About you
You do not need a mandatory qualification.
You will ideally hold a qualification in human resources, finance or business administration.
You should also have:
experience using
rostering systems
, such as TimeTarget, Humanforce or Kronos, to plan and maintain multiple staff rosters
knowledge of
awards and agreements
, with experience in rostering, human resources or payroll
solid
Excel skills
,



including advanced formulas, pivot tables and charts, to check data and solve problems
clear communication
and a helpful team approach, with the ability to adapt when priorities change.
