Physiotherapist (Oncology Rehab and Lymphoedema) | Part Time | Northern Beaches
An oncology rehab and lymphoedema group is looking for a physio to join their team on a part time basis.
You would work a couple of days in the clinic and one day on home visits.
Lymphoedema training can be supported, so you don't need to have it already.
About the practice
Oncology rehabilitation and lymphoedema management practice
Supports people through cancer treatment and recovery, before and after surgery
Mainly hands-on care, alongside tools such as compression pumps, bandaging programs and garment prescription
Other services include scar management, group exercise programs and supportive care in the palliative setting
Collaborative team that works with each patient's other health providers
About the role
A couple of days a week in the clinic, plus one day of home visits
Provide cancer rehabilitation and exercise programs tailored to each patient
Assess and manage lymphoedema, including early monitoring for people at risk
Work alongside an experienced team and communicate with patients, families and referrers
Keep transparent notes and treatment plans
What we are looking for
Degree in Physiotherapy and current AHPRA registration
Interest in oncology rehab and lymphoedema care
Willingness to complete lymphoedema training, which the practice can support
Warm, patient and caring approach with people going through a difficult time
Your own reliable car and a current driver's licence for home visits
What you will get
