As Emergency Head Nurse, you will work closely with the hospital leadership team while remaining actively involved on the clinical floor.
This role is designed as a working leadership position, providing support to our veterinarians, mentoring the nursing team, and helping drive operational excellence across the hospital while embodying our

The Role:
Full-time position (38 hours per week)
Rotating roster including:
Day shifts
Evening shifts
Overnight shifts
Weekend shifts
Every second weekend off

You will:
Lead by example and provide strong clinical leadership on the floor
Support and mentor our nursing team, helping individuals grow their skills and confidence
Support exceptional patient care across complex emergency and critical care cases
Help drive clinical standards, operational excellence, and continuous improvement
Foster a positive, supportive, and collaborative workplace culture
Contribute to education, training, and career development within the nursing team
We are looking for someone who:
Is an experienced and highly capable veterinary nurse




Has a strong background in emergency and/or critical care nursing
Leads by example and inspires those around them
Enjoys mentoring, coaching, and developing others
Is confident working in a fast-paced and complex emergency environment
Embraces continuous learning and improvement
Communicates with authenticity, compassion, and confidence
Builds positive and collaborative team culture
