HealthX is recruiting Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) for casual opportunities across home care services in Brisbane, Queensland.
Payrate: Casual rates from $***** to $***** per hour, with generous penalty rates up to $****** per hour for public holiday shifts.

About the Role
As a Home Care Personal Care Assistant, you will support Registered Nurses and the wider Clinical Care Team in delivering high-quality, person-centred palliative care within the home setting.
Key Responsibilities
Assist clients with activities of daily living
Provide direct care within clients' homes with remote clinical oversight available 24/7
Support mobility, transfers,



pressure area care, oral and mouth care
Work collaboratively with families, carers, and clinicians
Maintain client dignity, comfort, and safety at all times
Follow clinical protocols, infection control standards, and documentation requirements
Respond appropriately to unexpected changes in client condition
About You – What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Availability to work on a casual basis
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including night shifts
Certificate III in Individual Support, Health Services Assistance, Aged Care, or a related qualification
Previous experience in community care, aged care, disability support, oncology, palliative care, or a healthcare setting
Solid communication skills and a compassionate, client-centred approach to care
A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle (preferred)
