Due to ongoing business growth, they are currentlylooking to add an experienced senior construction plumber / gas fitter to theirskilled team to assist running of numerous existing projects and to drivefuture growth.
The Position...
This role provides agreat opportunity for an experienced and motivated person to join their dynamicplumbing & gas team and manage numerous construction projects.




The suitableperson will work closely with the Leading Hand and Management to drive companystandards and reach critical KPI's.
The right person must be able to understandSWMS and ensure themselves & co-workers abide by company & majorcontractor SWMS & other safety rules at all times.
The suitable person shall have the skillset to manage their own daily jobs as well as oversee other co-workers &apprentices.;
The experience in reading plans, setting out drainage & waterservices as well as liaising with builders is extremely important to this role.
Specific job responsibilities include:
Reviewing upcomingstages of projects and forward planning for required material, required labour& machinery.
Read & understandplans to ensure the plumbing team has the correct set out and constructiondrawings, and make sure they understand them.
Preparing progressclaims and variations for various projects.
Ensuring the projectis running to schedule in conjunction with the Leading Hand & Management.
Having daily contactwith the General Manager.
Ensuring colleaguesare clearly explained complex onsite works to ensure accuracy & effectivetime management.




Placing orders forall major equipment and materials.
Liaising with AdminManager to ensure efficient daily time management of schedule.
The Ideal Candidate...
The ideal candidate must have thefollowing:
Minimum of 3 yearspost trade experience working in the construction plumbing sector.
Sound understandingof Plumbing Regulations.
Ability to mark outpre-lays and read complex plans.
Theexperience in reading plans, setting out drainage & water services as wellas liaising with builders is extremely important to this role.
Have a high level oftooling.
The ability toprioritise your own tasks to enable you to complete your own onsite work inconjunction with coordinating work for your colleagues.
Strong professionalhistory in reliability & professional results.
Excavator , EWP, BobCat licensed & experience (favourable, but not critical)
