Konnecting Recruitment is partnering with a well-established and growing medical practice in Rockhampton, Queensland, seeking experienced and patient-focused General Practitioners to join its clinical team on a full-time or part-time basis.
This opportunity is ideal for GPs looking to work within a supportive practice offering modern facilities, an established patient base and dedicated nursing support while delivering high-quality primary healthcare to patients of all ages.
About the Practice Located in the heart of Rockhampton, the practice provides comprehensive primary healthcare to the local community and continues to experience strong patient demand.
The practice offers modern, fully equipped consultation rooms, dedicated nursing support, convenient off-street parking and a collaborative environment involving GPs, nurses, specialists and allied health professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive primary healthcare to patients across all age groups.
Conduct clinical assessments, history-taking, diagnosis, treatment and appropriate referrals.
Manage acute and chronic health conditions in accordance with current clinical guidelines.
Provide preventative healthcare, health assessments, vaccinations and immunisations.
Order and interpret appropriate pathology, imaging and other diagnostic investigations.
Develop treatment and chronic disease management plans and coordinate ongoing patient care.
Collaborate effectively with nursing staff, specialists and allied health professionals.
Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records using practice medical software.
Maintain high standards of patient safety, infection control and quality clinical care.
Participate in the practice's rotating after-hours/on-call arrangements where required.
About You To be considered, candidates should have:




Current or eligibility for
AHPRA registration
as a medical practitioner.
Vocational Recognition – FRACGP or FACRRM preferred, or appropriate eligibility/pathway.
Solid general practice and primary healthcare clinical skills.
A genuine commitment to patient-centred and evidence-based care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous quality improvement.

Fellowed General Practitioners receive 65% of billings
Registrars are remunerated in accordance with applicable AGPT guidelines
Doctors across the practice network may generate gross annual billings ranging from approximately $300,000 to $800,000+, depending on hours worked, patient demand, billing approach, and areas of clinical interest
