PKCT was established to provide protected, reliable and cost effective bulk material handling services to enable its customers to maintain and/or improve market share in the international coal trade at minimum cost.

The Company's principal activities are coal handling, stockpiling and ship loading at Port Kembla Inner Harbour.
n
PKCT services mines in the southern and western NSW coal fields.
ABOUT THE ROLE n
This role is a
Permanent position based at Port Kembla Coal Terminal
in the coastal city of Wollongong, NSW, approximately 75 kilometres southwest of Sydney.
n
We are looking for an experienced
Electrical Trade
to:
n
Work to a high standard and actively engage in the PKCT safe systems of work
n
Investigate and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns
n
Completion of routine preventative maintenance tasks
n
Monitor HMI and Main Control Room Operations and confirm and investigate critical plant alarms.
n
Plan and conduct electrical isolation
n
Communicate and build relationships across work groups
n
This position is a shift operations role, supporting a 24/7 operation. Generous roster pattern that works both day and night shifts.

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:
n
Certificate III in Electrotechnology (must)
n
Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Electrotechnology (desired)
n
Experience with Rockwell Factory Talk HMI
n
Experience with AB (Allen Bradley) Industrial drives
n
Experience working in medium to heavy industry
n
Electrical licence
n
High Voltage Switching Certificate (desired)
n
Current Driver's Licence
n
Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) or the ability to obtain
n
Strong commitment to safety and hazard awareness
