About the Role Silk Hospitality is seeking an experienced and hands-on Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at a prestigious 5-star hotel in Melbourne CBD.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated housekeeping team within a luxury 5-star hotel environment, ensuring exceptional presentation standards and delivering memorable guest experiences.
As Housekeeping Supervisor, you will support the day-to-day management of housekeeping operations while leading, coaching, and motivating your team to consistently deliver exceptional results.
Working closely with hotel management and operational teams, you will help ensure guest rooms, suites, and public areas are maintained to the highest standards expected within a luxury 5-star environment.
Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations Lead, train, and support housekeeping team members Allocate daily room assignments and manage workflow efficiently Conduct room and public area inspections to ensure brand standards are maintained Drive productivity, quality,
and service excellence across the department Monitor compliance with Workplace Health Safety requirements Respond professionally to guest requests and service recovery matters Liaise with hotel departments to ensure seamless daily operations Complete operational reporting and maintain accurate records Identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions What We're Looking For Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor within a hotel environment Experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel highly regarded Solid leadership, coaching, and team development skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality standards Ability to work in a quick-paced environment and manage competing priorities A positive, hands-on leadership style with a strong work ethic Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays Why Join Silk Hospitality?
