About the Role n
As a Farm Hand, you will assist with the daily care and welfare of poultry while helping maintain high standards of animal welfare, biosecurity, and farm operations.



This is a physically active role requiring reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Monitoring feed, water, and poultry welfare
n
Handling poultry safely and humanely
n
Egg collecting, boxing, and packing
n
Conducting shed inspections and floor walksLoading and moving trolleys
n
Assisting with shed clean-outs and general farm duties
n
Completing basic record keeping and administrative tasks
n
Following strict biosecurity, animal welfare, and workplace safety procedures
n
About You n
n
Hold a current driver's licence and have reliable transport
n
Be physically fit and comfortable performing repetitive manual work
n
Have strong safety awareness and an understanding of biosecurity practices
n
Be reliable, punctual, and hardworking
n
Work effectively within a team environment
n
Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
n
Hold full Australian working rights
n
Not own poultry, birds, or pigs due to strict biosecurity requirements
n
n
Previous poultry farm, livestock, farming, or agricultural experience will be highly regarded; however, full training will be provided for motivated candidates.
