Tallan Group is a growing construction and insurance building repairscompany based in North Lakes.
We require an experienced full-time accounts assistant to join our finance team.
The role involves data entry, management of accounts payable & receivable, debt collection, reconciliation of bank statements & credit cards, and assistance with month end financial reporting.The successful applicant will need to demonstrate experience across all aspects of the accounts process, a strong commitment to accuracy and the ability to solve problems.
Playing a critical role in our busy finance team, the successful candidate will need to be well organised, meticulous and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Responsibilities include but not limited to:Processing of Accounts Payable – ensuring smooth data transfer between Xero and our workflow system.Actioning of supplier queries in a friendly and timely manner.Assisting with Accounts Receivable – generating and issuing month end invoices,



ensuring client queries are quickly addressed, and debt collection.Working alongside a busy team and collaborating with other key business stakeholders.Ability to investigate discrepancies, with a keen eye for detail.Monthly reconciliation of bank and credit card transactions.Assisting with month-end closing activities.Ideal Candidate Profile:Diploma or certificate in Accounting/Finance.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.Robust organisational skills - effectively multi-tasking and prioritising workload.High level of attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Trustworthy.Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Several years' experience in a similar role.Available for an immediate start would be preferrable.
