About the Role
We currently have a vacancy for a Drillers Offsider to join our team.
In this role you will work in a safe and professional manner always alert to the possible hazards found in an active worksite.
While we prefer experience it is not necessary, the ability to follow instruction and the interest to learn is a requirement.
Your daily duties will include but not limited to:
Provide ongoing support as a part of the drill teamSetting up and tearing down the drilling equipmentMoving between drill sites, assisting the drillerCollecting and presenting the sample as per the clients' directionClean,
perform pre-starts and minor servicing of equipmentPerform maintenance work on Rig and Ancillary equipment within your capabilitiesRod handling and drill rig assistancePreparation and cleaning of gear before and after mobilisation.
About You
Working in a drilling team is a varied, interesting andrewarding career.
A constant awareness of safe working practice is necessary.
You must enjoy working outdoors, using your initiative and have a determination and resilience not required in most jobs.
