Maven Insurance + Advisory is looking for an Assistant Account Manager to join our Torquay team.

You'll work closely with experienced Account Managers and Directors, gaining hands‐on experience across all facets of personal and commercial insurance, building and maintaining strong client relationships and advocating for clients during the claims management process.
About the role
As an Assistant Account Manager, you'll support the team in managing client portfolios, developing new business opportunities and delivering the high level of personal service Maven is known for.
Your role will include:
Supporting Account Managers with the day‐to‐day management of client insurance programs
Building strong relationships and maintaining regular contact with clients
Gathering underwriting information and working with insurers to obtain and negotiate terms
Preparing quotations and reports and presenting recommendations to clients
Supporting clients through the claims process and advocating for positive outcomes
Identifying and supporting new business opportunities to help grow client portfolios and build relationships with prospective clients
Building strong working relationships with insurers and other industry stakeholders
Joining Account Managers for client meetings, site visits and networking opportunities.
About you

Commercially minded, with an interest in developing relationships and new business

Keen to learn and build a career in insurance broking
Community‐minded and relationship‐focused.
Insurance experience and/or tertiary qualifications would be an advantage, but they're not essential.
