We are seeking an experienced Salesforce
n Commerce Cloud (SFCC)
Developer/Consultant
to design, build, and optimise
n scalable eCommerce solutions for our clients/business. The ideal candidate will
n have strong hands-on SFCC expertise, with a growing interest or experience in
n Agentic Commerce (AI-driven, autonomous shopping experiences and agent-based
n commerce workflows), and exposure to Adobe
Commerce/Experience
Cloud or
n Sitecore platforms.
n
This role is based in Melbourne or Sydney,
n offering the opportunity to work on high-impact digital commerce transformation
n projects across diverse industries.
n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
n
n
Design, develop, and implement end-to-end eCommerce
n solutions on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC / Demandware), including SFRA
n and/or SiteGenesis architectures.
n
Build and customise storefront features, cartridges,
n controllers, and templates (ISML, JavaScript, SCSS).
n
Integrate SFCC with third-party systems (OMS, ERP, PIM,
n Payment Gateways, CDP) via SCAPI/OCAPI and REST/SOAP APIs.
n
Contribute to the design and implementation of Agentic
n Commerce capabilities — AI agents, conversational commerce, autonomous
n shopping assistants, and integration with LLM-driven commerce experiences.
n
Support solutioning and delivery of composable commerce
n architectures, leveraging Adobe
Commerce/Experience
Manager or Sitecore
n where relevant.
n
Collaborate with UX, QA, Business Analysts, and Product
n teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
n
Optimise site performance, scalability, and SEO across
n commerce platforms.
n
Participate in code reviews, CI/CD pipeline management,




n and adherence to best practices/coding standards.
n
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring
n platform stability and uptime.
n
Stay current with emerging commerce technologies,
n particularly AI/agentic commerce trends, and provide recommendations to
n stakeholders.
n
n
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
n
n
3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce B2C
n Commerce Cloud (SFCC/Demandware).
n
Robust proficiency in SFRA, JavaScript, ISML,
n SCSS/LESS, and Node.js.
n
Experience with OCAPI/SCAPI, REST/SOAP web services,
n and third-party system integrations.
n
Solid understanding of eCommerce business processes:
n catalog, pricing, promotions, checkout, and order management.
n
Experience with Git, CI/CD tools, and Agile/Scrum
n delivery methodologies.
n
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both
n independently and within cross-functional teams.
n
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to
n engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
n
n
PREFERRED / NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS
n
n
Exposure to Agentic Commerce concepts — AI shopping
n agents, autonomous checkout flows, conversational commerce, or integration
n with LLM/AI-driven commerce tools.
n
Experience with Adobe Commerce (Magento) / Adobe
n Experience Manager (AEM) or Sitecore (OrderCloud/XM Cloud) platforms.
n
Familiarity with
headless/composable
commerce
n architecture (MACH principles).
n
Salesforce Commerce Cloud certifications (e.g., B2C
n Commerce Developer, Architect).
n
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and
n DevOps practices.
n
Knowledge of PWA Kit / React-based storefronts.
n
