We are actively seeking dedicated Mechanical Fitters to join our Urban utilities Team.
You will be part of a motivated crew working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
perform routine, preventive, and reactive maintenance on water and wastewater treatment and delivery infrastructure, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability.
Fault-finding and diagnostics on mechanical components
Preventative maintenance and breakdown support
Ensuring all work is completed to WHS standards
Working alongside production teams to minimise downtime




Accurate documentation of maintenance tasks and reporting of issues
What You Bring to the Team
Experience on wastewater treatment plants and all equipment located within the plant (Desirable)
Australian Driver's Licence and full working rights
Prior experience as a Mechanical Fitter or similar mechanical role
National Licence to perform High Risk work (Desirable)
Relevant trade qualification (Mechanical Fitter or equivalent)
Ability to pass pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol test
Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
A can-do attitude and willingness to support the team when required
Commitment to workplace safety and professionalism
