Head of People & Culture | 9-12 Month Contract n
Lead a national People & Culture function supporting major civil infrastructure projects across Australia. We're partnering with a leading civil contractor to appoint an experienced Head of People & Culture for a parental leave contract. Reporting to the executive team, you'll lead a national function across HR, Talent Acquisition, Mobilisation and ER/IR while partnering closely with operational leaders to support workforce growth, organisational performance and people strategy.

Stepping into an established and highly capable People & Culture function, you'll provide leadership, continuity and support during a key period for the business while maintaining momentum across people initiatives nationally.
About the Role n
n
Lead a national People & Culture team across HR, Talent Acquisition, Mobilisation and ER/IR
n
Partner with executive and operational leaders across a geographically dispersed workforce
n
Provide strategic and operational guidance on people, culture and workforce matters
n
Oversee employee and industrial relations activity, including enterprise bargaining
n
Lead attraction, retention and workforce planning initiatives to support a growing national workforce
n
Support leadership capability and organisational development priorities
n
Ensure effective HR service delivery across corporate and project operations
n
Foster a high-performing and team-oriented team environment
n
About You n
n
Proven experience in a Head of People & Culture,
HR Manager or senior HR leadership role
n
Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business or a related discipline
n
Strong generalist HR capability across the full employee lifecycle
n
Demonstrated experience managing complex ER/IR matters and enterprise bargaining
n
Strong working knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Awards and Enterprise Agreements
n
Experience leading and developing HR teams
n
Confidence partnering with and influencing operational and executive leaders
n
Commercial, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach
n
Previous experience within the civil construction industry is essential
n
Ability to travel nationally as required
n
Available to commence in mid-October ****
n
Must hold unrestricted working rights in Australia with no sponsorship requirements
n
