About the role
As our Housing Coordinator, you will lead support workers, coordinate participant supports and oversee the day-to-day operation of our housing services.
You will build positive relationships with participants, families and stakeholders, develop person-centred care plans and ensure services reflect each participant's needs, preferences and goals.
This varied, hands‐on role combines team leadership, rostering, participant engagement and regular property visits.
Your key responsibilities
Lead, guide and support a team of support workers, promoting a positive and accountable team culture.
Coordinate rosters, respond to staffing changes and ensure participants receive appropriate, consistent care.
Develop, implement and review high-quality, person-centred care plans with participants and relevant stakeholders.
Support participants to work towards their individual goals.
Monitor participant service notes, recording charts and incident reports, following up concerns and escalating matters when required.
Provide responsive, skilled customer service to participants, families, staff and external stakeholders.
Manage participant queries, concerns, complaints and appeals with empathy and timely follow‐through.
Conduct regular property inspections and coordinate action on maintenance, safety and presentation.
Maintain accurate records and manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
Work with management to implement agreed decisions, improve service delivery and undertake duties relevant to the role.
About you
You bring initiative, warmth and sound judgement.




You can confidently lead a team, respond calmly when plans change and keep participant wellbeing at the centre of your work.
You will have:
Relevant experience, knowledge or training in disability services, allied health, community services, welfare or a related field.
Experience leading or supervising support workers.
Strong rostering skills and an understanding of effective staffing practices.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build constructive relationships with participants, families, staff and managers.
Strong organisation, attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
An understanding of workplace health and safety and quality service delivery.
The ability to work independently and collaboratively.
A relevant tertiary qualification in community services or a related discipline.
A current Victorian driver's licence and access to a suitably insured vehicle for work‐related travel.
Experience using ShiftCare or similar rostering and participant management software will be highly regarded.
