Our client is an established Insurance Brokerage and a member of the Steadfast Group. It runs its own in-house Claims Team that advocates for clients across a range of insurance classes, with a robust focus on Property and Residential Strata.
About the Role n
We're recruiting a Claims Consultant to join the Claims Team. The role is based in Melbourne CBD, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

You'll manage your own claims portfolio end to end. This is a brokerage claims role: you advocate for clients with insurers rather than holding settlement authority.
Responsibilities include: n
n
End-to-end management of a claims portfolio across a range of classes, with a focus on Property and Residential Strata
n
Liaising with Brokers, repairers, assessors and Underwriters
n
Advocating for clients to achieve the best possible claims outcome
n
Building strong relationships with internal and external clients
n
About You n
You'll have at least 3 years' experience in insurance and/or claims. Property or Strata claims experience is highly regarded but not essential.

Ideally you'll bring:
n
n
Experience managing a claims portfolio from lodgement to settlement
n




Clear written and verbal communication with Brokers, assessors and insurers
n
Attention to detail in a busy team
n
Full Australian work rights (essential)
n
n
Claims Examiners from Insurers, Loss Adjusters and TPAs will be considered, as well as brokerage claims staff.
