Initial contract to 30/06/2027 with high likelihood of ongoing extensionAO4 Learning and Development OfficerQLD Government$***** per hour + superannuationInitial contract to 30/06/2027 with high likelihood of ongoing extensionAbout the RoleAn opportunity is available for an experienced and organised administrator to support the delivery of learning and development initiatives within a busy government setting.You will provide administrative and logistical support across a range of learning and development initiatives, helping ensure training programs are delivered efficiently.
The role will support training coordination, record management, reporting, resource development and business improvement activities.Key ResponsibilitiesEnrol learners into training programs and respond to training-related enquiries.Coordinate training logistics, including room bookings, training materials, catering and event arrangements.Administer and maintain learner records within the learner management system.Assist with the development, implementation and review of learning and development resources and materials.Conduct desktop research to support continuous improvement initiatives and recommendations.Monitor, track, analyse and audit learning and development activities, submissions and resources.Prepare reports, guides, presentations, meeting papers and other business documentation.Coordinate agendas, minutes,
correspondence and project documentation.Review preferred supplier lists and assist with sourcing training providers.Support post-training administration, including invoice follow-up, attendance reporting and updating training trackers.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:Previous experience in administration, learning and development support, training coordination, RTO, compliance administration or a project support role.Intermediate proficiency across Microsoft Office applications, including Teams, Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint.Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced workplace with changing priorities.High levels of organisation, attention to detail and time management.Sound problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously when required.Experience with Adobe Acrobat will be highly regarded.At Empire Group, we value diversity and are committed to equitable recruitment.
