Morgan Consulting Engineers (MCE) is a structural and civil engineering consultancy that has been operating in Brisbane since ****.
With around 55 employees across multiple engineering disciplines, we're an established business with a friendly, down-to-earth team and a busy project environment.
We're looking for a Drafter to join our team in a full-time, office-based role.
The Role
This is a varied drafting role where you'll work across a range of engineering projects and work closely with our engineers and broader Drafting team to produce accurate, coordinated project documentation.
Your responsibilities will include:
Prepare accurate and coordinated drawings, models, details, schedules and project documentation.
Use AutoCAD, Revit and other relevant drafting and document management systems.
Work closely with engineers to ensure documentation accurately reflects approved engineering information.
Manage your allocated work, priorities and deadlines across multiple projects.
Complete thorough checks of your work before review or issue.
Identify missing, unclear or conflicting information and raise questions early.
Respond to review comments and maintain accurate file and document control.
Work collaboratively with engineers, drafters and other team members to support effective project delivery.
About you
Previous drafting experience or a relevant drafting qualification/training.




Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
The ability to organise your workload, manage priorities and meet deadlines.
Confidence asking questions and seeking clarification when information isn't clear.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
A willingness to learn, take feedback and continue developing your technical skills.
