You will be required to work four days in the office and 1 day from home after training.The RoleReporting to the General Manager of Payroll, and working alongside three other Payroll Officers,



this position will be responsible for accurate and timely processing of fortnightly payroll for over **** staff.Key responsibilities will include:End-to-end processing of fortnightly payroll for a large employee baseMaintain payroll systems and manage payroll records including leave, overtime and entitlementsInterpret relevant Awards, EBAs and contracts (including shift penalties and allowances)Process terminations, variations, increases and backpay adjustmentsReconcile superannuation, WorkCover and other statutory deductionsProcess salary packaging and liaise with external providersDeliver accurate reporting to meet internal and legislative requirementsChampion service excellence, ensuring all payroll enquiries are handled promptly, accurately and with carePartner closely with HR to ensure accurate, compliant employee set-up and continuous process improvementWhat are we looking for?
Proven experience in a high-volume payroll position for a diverse workforceRelevant tertiary qualifications in Business/Accounting/Finance or related fields would be desirableExperience working within the health care/aged care/disability industries will be high desirable but not essentialStrong Knowledge of awards, EBA's, Fair Work Act and employment agreementsExperience using payroll software systems, ideally SuccessFactorsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholdersAdvanced Ms Excel and systems savvyStrong attention to detail with good accuracyAdaptable, positive and has a desire to grow!
