Dr Abbie Clinics is launching an exciting new footwear, insole and foot-comfort pop-up store at Westfield Miranda.
We are looking for three exceptional retail people to join us from the beginning.
This is much more than a standard retail assistant position.
We are looking for people with strong retail and customer service experience who can be trained to become confident Retail Sales & Product Fitting Consultants.
You will learn how to understand a customer's footwear and foot-comfort concerns, recommend and correctly fit appropriate products into their shoes, provide an excellent retail experience and recognise when a customer should be referred to Dr Abbie Clinics for professional assessment.Key responsibilitiesOpening and closing the storeCoordinating the casual retail teamProviding exceptional customer serviceUnderstanding customers' footwear and foot-comfort needsRecommending and fitting appropriate insoles and footwear-related productsDriving sales and helping the store achieve its targetsCoaching the team in customer service, sales and product knowledgeProcessing sales and managing POS proceduresCash and payment reconciliationStock control and monitoring product levelsCasual Retail Sales & Product Fitting Consultants responsibilitiesProactively approaching and engaging customersAsking appropriate questions to understand their needsLearning about common foot and footwear-related concernsRecommending suitable insoles and other productsCorrectly fitting products into customers' shoesDemonstrating and explaining products clearlyProviding friendly and qualified customer serviceProcessing sales and collecting paymentsUpselling and cross-selling appropriate complementary productsAbout youPrevious retail sales and/or customer service experienceConfident approaching and talking with customersExcellent communication and people skillsEnjoy selling and achieving targetsCan identify opportunities to upsell without using high-pressure sales techniquesGenuinely interested in finding the right solution for the customerComfortable learning detailed product informationWilling to learn about foot health, footwear and insolesCan explain and demonstrate products confidentlyReliable, organised and professionally presentedFor the Retail Team Leader position, previous experience in a Team Leader, Supervisor, Assistant Manager or Store Manager position would be highly regarded.Experience in footwear, pharmacy, allied health, sports retail, health and wellness, orthotics, medical products or specialist retail would be advantageous but is not essential.About usDr Abbie Clinics is launching an exciting new retail concept.

If successful, the model is intended to be expanded into other Westfield locations.
This is the first store of its kind for Dr Abbie Clinics.
Westfield Miranda will be our pilot location, allowing us to develop and refine our retail model before considering expansion into additional Westfield locations.
