Maintenance Electrician - Food ManufacturingWe are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician / Engineering Technician to join our team at a rapid-paced food manufacturing facility.
This is a temporary role with a strong potential to transition to permanent employment for the right candidate.This role plays a key part in supporting operational efficiency across the site by delivering best-practice maintenance, electrical, and engineering support while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.Monday to Friday (Day Shift)Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical WorkPerform all site electrical work in accordance with Australian Standards and licensing requirementsInstallation and upgrading of cabling, machinery electrics, lighting, and power pointsTag and test electrical equipment and maintain registersConduct electrical testing and coordinate with external electrical contractorsGeneral Maintenance & EngineeringCarry out preventive and breakdown maintenance on plant and equipmentAssist with mechanical breakdowns, repairs, and general building maintenanceSupport fabrication, installations, and minor mechanical works (as qualified)Manage spare parts, engineering stores, and contractor activitiesSupport and maintain CMMS/MEX system, including preventive maintenance schedulingContribute to continuous improvement, cost-saving,
