Our Launceston Business Advisory team has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a close-knit, high-performing team.
Work closely with the Director of Business Advisory (TAS) with regular one-on-one mentoring, guidance and support to help you grow your advisory capability.

Role responsibilities
Collaborate with the client manager to manage a portfolio of clients
Apply your technical knowledge to prepare complex special purpose reports, financial statements, tax returns, and reconciliations for companies, partnerships, and trusts
Prepare monthly management reports, cash flow statements, and transparent, logical working papers
Develop and manage client budgets and forecasts
Assist with consulting work, including the provision of tailored tax advice
Review and provide quality feedback on junior team members' work,



supporting their growth through coaching and delegation
Role requirements
A Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) or equivalent degree
Completed (or close to completing) CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification
Minimum 3 years' Australian experience in accounting, ideally within public practice
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Motivation to grow professionally and contribute to team development
A genuine interest in mentoring and upskilling junior team members
Ability to develop trusted relationships with both clients and colleagues
