Working closely with management, you will keep financial records accurate, ensure claims and payments are reconciled, and follow outstanding matters through to resolution.
Support at Home claiming training will be provided.
Previous experience with the program is desirable but not essential.Key responsibilitiesManage participant contribution invoicing, allocate receipts and follow up outstanding balances.Process approved contribution adjustments, credits and refunds.Review supplier invoices against service records and agreed rates, obtain approvals and prepare payment batches.Prepare and submit Support at Home claims, monitor claim outcomes and resolve rejected or adjusted claims.Reconcile submitted claims with payments received from Services Australia and investigate discrepancies.Complete bank reconciliations and maintain accurate receivable and payable records.Work with case managers, administration and IT to resolve missing information and billing discrepancies.Prepare regular reports on outstanding contributions,



supplier payments and claim reconciliation.Maintain supporting documentation for financial reviews and audits.Help improve accounting processes and internal controls.About youA qualification in accounting or a related discipline.Practical experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable and reconciliation.Strong attention to detail and the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies.Good Excel skills and confidence using accounting software and learning new systems.Transparent communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with clients, suppliers and colleagues.The ability to manage deadlines, work independently and take ownership of your tasks.Respect for confidential financial and participant information.Experience in aged care, community services, government-funded programs will be highly regarded.About usCountry Mile Home Care provides aged care services across NSW and Western Australia, helping older Australians live independently at home.
