Clinical Nurse Educator - Acute ServicesAdvance your career with Victoria's largest regional health service, supporting education and training across University Hospital Geelong acute servicesJoin a dynamic and highly committed team of clinicians in a varied, challenging, and rewarding roleBenefit from excellent work–life balance in a stunning regional location, close to the Bellarine Peninsula and the Great Ocean RoadPermenant part-time position - 64 hours per fortnightAbout the roleWorking as a member of the CET team, Educators contribute to a coordinated and interprofessional approach to education that aligns with organisational priorities, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and ensures clinical practice remains evidence based, safe and person-centred.KeyresponsibilitiesConduct learning needs analyses using multiple data sources to identify skill and knowledge gaps and inform targeted, competency-based education solutions.Design, develop, deliver, and evaluate high-quality education and training programs for healthcare staff, ensuring alignment with evidence-based practice, NSQHS standards, and organisational requirements.Apply contemporary education theory, learner-centred approaches, simulation and blended learning methodologies to create engaging education that supports knowledge retention, clinical capability and transfer to practice.Use evaluation, quality improvement, education-related research and workforce data to measure the effectiveness of education initiatives, identify opportunities for improvement,
and contribute to evidence-based clinical education practice.Foster interprofessional learning and collaboration by working closely with clinical teams, internal stakeholders, and external partners to support a culture of continuous learning and development.Ensure education activities are safely and effectively delivered in compliance with safety, quality, information management, and OHS standards, including accurate documentation and reporting.Whatwe'relooking forCurrent professional qualification with active AHPRA registration (or eligibility for professional association membership).
Postgraduate qualification in educaton (or working towards) or equivalent is desired.Demonstrated clinical excellence with strong consolidation of practice experience, supported by effective communication, interpersonal, and leadership capabilities.Demonstrated knowledge and application of contemporary education theory, pedagogical principles and learner-centred approaches, with a commitment to ongoing development in clinical education.Demonstrated experience in, or capability to, design, deliver and evaluate education and training programs, with experience in education, quality improvement, research, project management or service development highly desirable.Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively, lead change,
