We are committed to creating a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment where young people feel empowered to seek support and achieve their goals.Reporting to the Team Leader, headspace Malvern, this is a Part-time (0.8 EFT), Maximum-term parental leave cover position until 30 June ****.Based at headspace Malvern, you will work within a collaborative multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality, evidence-based mental health support to young people and their families while contributing to positive outcomes across health, wellbeing, education and social participation.The roleAs a Mental Health Clinician, you will provide mental health assessments, brief interventions, single-session support, therapeutic counselling and care coordination using evidence-based approaches.
Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will support young people and their families to develop goals, build resilience and connect with education, employment, health and community services.Using a compassionate "no wrong door" approach, you will ensure every young person feels welcomed with hope, empathy and respect.
You will manage a clinical caseload while working closely with a multidisciplinary team and Senior Clinician to deliver holistic and integrated care.What you will be doing Key ResponsibilitiesUndertake assessments, Support First (single session),
