About the position




The Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for assisting the Accounts Payable Manager in the delivery of accounts payable services for ADT Security Australia, including processing of all supplier invoices, and other payments, in an accurate and timely manner.
The role is expected to operate with some degree of autonomy in respect to day to day work priorities.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Assist the Accounts Payable Manager in providing the full range of service delivery for suppliers of ADT Security, in the area of processing payments including employees' reimbursement claims; invoices; purchase card statements; travel statements; and all other non-payroll payments.
Receive, review, and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness.
Code and enter invoices into the MYOB accounting system.
Match invoices with purchase orders and other relevant documentation.
Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
Ensure timely payment of all invoices according to payment terms.
Resolve payment discrepancies and disputes with vendors.
Reconcile vendor statements regular basis and handle queries from vendors.
Assist with reconciling monthly accounts payable to the general ledger.




Assist in the updating and maintaining of electronic records to ensure timely, accurate and up-to-date information is available.
Assist in the Preparation of reports on all aspects of the accounts payable function, as required.
Assist in the month-end and year-end processing including the preparation of relevant general journals and assist in the perpetration of General ledger reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and financial regulations.
Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
About You:
You will have proven background in Accounts Payable administration
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate ideas.
