About the role Be the welcoming face of our Veteran & Family Wellbeing Centre in Townsville.
You'll connect current and ex-serving Defence members and their families to centre services and outreach programs.
You'll also run social connection activities and promote them to the community.
Reporting to the Centre Manager, you'll work in a multidisciplinary team.
What you'll do Provide trauma-informed, respectful support to veterans, families and community membersPlan, run and evaluate social connection and wellbeing activities and eventsPromote services through social media, newsletters and postersCoordinate bookings and records, and support reporting and WHS complianceBuild solid relationships with volunteers, Sub Branches and the wider team Skills & experience ADF service or a close connection, or experience working with current or ex-service personnelEvent coordination experience,



from logistics through to post-event reviewConfident with social media and Microsoft OfficeExcellent communication and relationship skills, with empathy for people in vulnerable circumstancesQueensland "C" class licence and a Working with Children Card (or willingness to obtain one); able to lift ***** kg Why work at RSL Queensland?
