These are full time positions, direct to client hire.New Opportunitiesfor experienced Boilermakers, Welders and Metal Fabricators have presented for those with experience in heavy engineering.
You will be working in a mining and resource hot spot, so experience working with heavy structural steel and earthmoving equipment is a necessity.
An example of your work could be welding or fabricating dump truck bodies or steel that will be used in mining infrastructure.Experience and Requirements:Minimum 3 Years full-time working in comparable positionCert III in Relevant TradeExperience working in a mining setting and on mining plant/equipmentInterpret engineering drawings and specifications for metal fabrication projectsFabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to plansUse manual or automated equipment for cutting, shaping, and bending metalPerform welding tasks using various techniques such as Arc, MIG, Stick and Flux Core Heavy WeldingRead and interpret welding blueprints to determine welding requirementsPrepare workpieces by cleaning, cutting, and fitting metal componentsSet up welding equipment and select appropriate methods based on materialsConduct inspections to ensure finished products meet quality standardsCollaborate with team members to optimize fabrication processesMaintain records of materials used and production timelinesOperate machinery safely and efficientlyFollow welding procedures and protocols for consistent qualityComplete projects within set timelines and budgetsMaintain a clean and organized work areaAdhere to occupational health and safety regulationsPay and Conditions:Base Rate: $35/hr$10-$30/hr in allowances based on experience and roleTotal hourly rate: $45/hr - $65/hrFull time employment with rostered mining hoursApplicants that meet the selection criteria of our client will be contacted.
