As our Senior Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing a broad range of bookkeeping functions across multiple entities including property and commercial development portfolios.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented and confident working independently.
An understanding of Trust structures and Trust accounting is essential.
Key responsibilities
Managing day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting tasks
Accounts payable and accounts receivable
Bank reconciliations and transaction processing
Payroll and superannuation
BAS preparation and reporting
Maintaining accurate financial records
Month-end reporting and reconciliations
Managing invoices, payments and creditor/debtor accounts
Assisting with budgeting, cash flow and financial reporting
Liaising with accountants, suppliers and other stakeholders
Maintain Investor loan schedules and reports
About you
Has strong experience in a senior bookkeeping role
Has excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Is confident managing bookkeeping processes from start to finish
Has strong knowledge of Australian bookkeeping, GST, BAS and payroll requirements
Is highly organised and able to manage competing priorities
Can work independently and take ownership of their responsibilities
Has excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Is trustworthy, reliable and professional
Has experience with Xero or accounting software
Experience in property sector
