If you are looking for an opportunity live and work in Far North Qld, this role is for you.A day in the life of a RAES Employment Consultant can include:Conduct comprehensive initial and ongoing assessments of participant skills, education, vocational interests, job readiness, and personal circumstancesCo-design individualised job plans and regularly review and update to reflect changes in participant circumstances, community priorities, and labour market opportunitiesProvide culturally appropriate and holistic support to participantsAssist participants to access allied health, housing, financial, disability, and other wraparound servicesSupport participants to engage in training, employment placements, and community projectsBuild strong relationships with local employersWork with employers to support culturally safe workplaces that encourage retention of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employeesCollaborate with Community Advisory Boards (CABs), community organisations,
and other stakeholders to ensure service delivery reflects local priorities and aspirationsContribute to the design and delivery of community projects that support workforce participation and skill developmentSkills and ExperienceDemonstrated experience in case management, employment services, or community developmentKnowledge of the Remote Australia Employment Services (RAES) programStrong understanding of referral pathways and the ability to connect participants with allied health, community, and specialist servicesProven ability to work effectively and respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, families, and communities, with an understanding of culturally safe service deliveryHigh-level organisational, administrative, and data management skillsCompetence in using employment services systems (such as ESS Web or equivalent), with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to IT and reporting requirementsBeing a part of the Rise Ventures team, you will be provided with a wide range of benefits including:Relocation to Pormpuraww5 weeks of paid leave per yearAccommodation and all utilities included3 roundtrip domestic flight per yearPersonal and professional development opportunitiesFrequent training and support to excel in the roleFree Employee Assistance ProgramEngage Wellbeing and Recognition Centre (Move, Munch,
