This is a full time remote role for a Payroll Professional.
The Payroll Professional will manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees and apprentices, including time and attendance review, earnings and deductions calculation, and coordination of wage payments.

Key responsibilities
Verify payroll data and maintain payroll records
Update employee information and ensure compliance with relevant tax and labour regulations
Respond to payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support accurate and timely payroll cycles
Assist with reporting, audits, and continuous process improvement to enhance payroll efficiency and reliability
About you
Experience with payroll processing systems, timekeeping tools, and basic accounting or bookkeeping practices
Knowledge of payroll regulations, tax withholding requirements, and labour laws relevant to multiple modern awards
Strong attention to detail, data entry accuracy, and ability to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies




Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain payroll information clearly to diverse stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee and financial information responsibly
Proficiency with spreadsheets and office productivity software (e.g., Excel, payroll platforms, HRIS tools)
Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage deadlines
Previous experience working with trade, construction, or apprenticeship programs in a GTO environment is beneficial but not essential
