We deliver high-quality commercial building design projects for a diverse client base across the private development sector.We are seeking an Senior Civil Engineer with commercial building civil design experience to join our growing team in Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast.
This role is open to relocation, from anywhere in Aus with a reimbursement package for doing so.This role is suited to an engineer ready to take ownership of projects, contribute to design delivery, and continue developing technically within a cooperative consulting environment.Why Join EDGE?

not a bulk earthworks or road design position.Key Responsibilities:Deliver civil engineering design packages for commercial building developmentsPrepare siteworks, drainage and services coordination designsProduce civil engineering drawings and mark-upsAssist with concept, tender and construction documentationUndertake design analysis using industry softwareAttend client and project team meetingsContribute to project delivery within scope, time and budgetParticipate in internal design reviews and QA processesAssist with technical documentation and reportingCollaborate with structural and civil teams across officesProvide guidance to Graduate Engineers where appropriateAbout You:You are a motivated consulting engineer with experience in commercial building civil design, looking to continue building your career within a respected consultancy.You will have:Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering4+ years civil engineering consultancy experienceExperience in commercial building or development civil designStrong understanding of siteworks, drainage and services designExperience producing civil engineering drawings for building developmentsProficiency with civil engineering CAD softwareStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to apply sound engineering judgementCommitment to professional developmentWorking toward Chartered or RPEQ status (preferred but not essential)Join EDGE on the Sunshine Coast:If you're looking to grow your career with a consultancy delivering high-quality commercial building projects in one of Queensland's best coastal locations, we'd love to hear from you.EDGE assist's with relocation $$$ packages for the right candidate.Applications close: 5th November ****Applicants must have full Australian working rights.EDGE is committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive and equitable workplace.Be careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
