We're looking for an organised, customer-focused Functions Sales Coordinator to join our Melbourne team.
In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for clients planning corporate and social events, managing enquiries from initial contact through to event handover while delivering outstanding service and driving sales.This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in hospitality sales and events within a fast-paced and supportive workplace.
What You'll Be Doing Manage inbound function and event enquiries via phone and email.Prepare proposals, quotations, booking agreements and event documentation.Coordinate bookings from enquiry through to handover with venue operations.Build strong relationships with corporate and social clients.Conduct venue inspections and promote our event spaces.Upsell function packages and venue offerings to maximise sales opportunities.Maintain accurate booking records and client information.Liaise with venue teams to ensure all event details are communicated accurately.Provide exceptional customer service throughout the client journey.Assist with venue administration and contribute to continuous process improvements.We're looking for someone who has:Minimum 1 year of experience working in a hospitality environmentMinimum 1 year of administration experienceMinimum 1 year of functions or events coordination experiencePrevious experience in customer serviceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detailA proactive, sales-focused mindset with the ability to build lasting client relationshipsThe ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentConfidence using Microsoft Office and booking or reservation systemsA positive attitude, initiative and a genuine passion for hospitality Why Join Us?
