This role is integral to delivering high-quality tax compliance and advisory services, managing client portfolios, supporting complex tax matters, and mentoring junior team members.This is a excellent opportunity for a motivated professional looking to grow within a collaborative and high-performing environment.ResponsibilitiesReview and manage income tax, BAS and FBT lodgementsProvide ongoing support and advisory services to clientsWorking with the Audit team, prepare tax calculation, DTA/DTL for audited financialsRecommend and apply recent strategies based on new legislative changes for the portfolio of clientsStreamline procedures and offer recommendations on how the tax filing process can run more efficientlyReview potential profitability areas to save on taxes and analysing any additional tax informationCoach, mentor and review the work of junior accountants to build competence and improve productivityQualificationsA minimum of four years' experience in external public practiceA strong understanding of relevant income tax and other legislationCompetent in the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and activity statements for companies, trusts,
