Is comfortable supporting prototype, first‐off and early production builds
Can balance immediate production priorities with longer‐term process improvement
Above all, you'll bring robust technical experience, practical judgement and a genuine commitment to helping the production team succeed.
Tasks & Responsibilities
You'll use your experience to support reliable production, solve technical problems and continually improve the way we manufacture.
Key responsibilities include:
Provide practical engineering support across production, resolving technical, process and quality issues to keep manufacturing moving.
Develop, validate and maintain manufacturing processes, machine programs, process profiles, tooling and production documentation.
Support new product introduction (NPI), prototype, first‐off and early production builds, helping establish reliable and repeatable manufacturing processes.
Investigate manufacturing and quality issues using structured problem‐solving and root cause analysis, implementing effective and lasting solutions.
Work closely with Production, Engineering and Quality to implement engineering changes and improve manufacturing outcomes.
Drive improvements in quality,
first‐pass yield, process capability, efficiency and production output.
Work alongside operators to provide technical guidance, training and knowledge sharing.
Apply design‐for‐manufacture principles to identify opportunities to improve product design, tooling, testing and assembly processes.
Qualifications & Experience
A tertiary qualification in Engineering such as Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering etc. or a related discipline.
Minimum 5+ years' experience in similar Production / Manufacturing Engineering role
Understanding of IPC‐610/ IPC‐620 and J-STD‐001 preferred
