RVTS is seeking a Clinical Teaching Visit (CTV) Coordinator to support the planning, scheduling and administration of our national Clinical Teaching Visit program.
In this role, you'll work closely with doctors, supervisors, Clinical Teaching Visitors and Medical Educators to coordinate visits across rural, remote and First Nations communities throughout Australia.This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised administrator who enjoys bringing people, schedules and processes together to ensure important training activities are delivered successfully.
By supporting Clinical Teaching Visits, you'll play a key role in helping doctors progress towards Fellowship while continuing to serve communities where healthcare is needed most.About RVTSThe Remote Vocational Training Scheme (RVTS) delivers a specialised vocational training program for medical practitioners working in rural, remote and First Nations communities across Australia.
Our program enables doctors to achieve Fellowship with the RACGP and/or ACRRM without leaving their communities, supporting sustainable healthcare outcomes where they are needed most.The RoleThe Clinical Teaching Visit Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the delivery of RVTS Clinical Teaching Visits across Australia.
The role supports the planning, scheduling and administrative management of visits, working closely with Clinical Teaching Visitors, Registrars, Supervisors,



Medical Educators and other stakeholders.You will coordinate visit schedules, travel arrangements, reporting processes and payments, maintain accurate records, monitor activity against program requirements and assist in identifying and escalating risks, delays and issues.
Educational and clinical decisions remain the responsibility of Medical Educators and other authorised staff.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate the planning, booking, rescheduling and administration of Clinical Teaching VisitsMaintain accurate schedules and records of planned, completed and outstanding visitsLiaise with Registrars, Clinical Teaching Visitors, Supervisors and Medical Educators to coordinate visit arrangementsCoordinate travel, accommodation and other logistical requirementsMaintain Clinical Teaching Visitor records, agreements and credentialling informationMonitor the completion and submission of visit reports and follow up outstanding documentationCoordinate approved payments and reimbursements associated with Clinical Teaching VisitsMaintain accurate records within RVTS systems and databasesSupport reporting, accreditation and quality assurance activitiesIdentify and elevate delays, risks and outstanding actions requiring attentionAssist with review and improvement of procedures, templates and work instructionsParticipate in workshops,



events and continuous improvement activitiesComply with all Workplace Health and Safety policies and RVTS codes of conduct.Skills and Experience RequiredStrong planning, scheduling and organisational skillsDemonstrated ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and competing prioritiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh level of attention to detail and commitment to accurate record-keepingAbility to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholdersAbility to identify issues, risks and delays and elevate appropriatelyStrong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft 365 applicationsAbility to manage confidential and sensitive information appropriatelyAbility to work effectively with people from diverse cultural backgroundsWillingness to undertake occasional travel to support RVTS workshops and events.Desirable (but not essential)Experience in health, medical education, vocational training or another regulated environmentExperience coordinating schedules, travel arrangements, contractors or service providersExperience managing invoices, payments or reimbursement processesExperience maintaining compliance, credentialling or quality recordsExperience supporting audits, accreditation or quality assurance activities.Purpose-driven work supporting rural and remote healthcareNot-for-profit salary packaging available (via AccessPay)Flexible working arrangements4 weeks annual leaveWork laptop suppliedNewly fitted-out office in AlburySupportive and team-oriented team environmentOpportunity to contribute to a nationally recognised medical training program.Salary: Competitive salary plus superannuation, based on experience, skills and qualifications.RVTS encourages Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to apply.
