MidCoast Council is looking for a skilled and motivated Team Member Water Network Construction to join our Water Project Delivery team.
In this hands‐on role, you'll assist in constructing and maintaining high-quality water and wastewater infrastructure that supports our community every day.As a main function of this role, you will have an understanding of the knowledge and physical abilities involved in pipelaying and the undertaking of a range of critical tasks to ensure successful pipeline installations.The OpportunityMidCoast Council is looking for a skilled and motivated Team Member Water Network Construction to join our Water Project Delivery team.
In this hands‐on role, you'll assist in constructing and maintaining high-quality water and wastewater infrastructure that supports our community every day.As a main function of this role, you will have an understanding of the knowledge and physical abilities involved in pipelaying and the undertaking of a range of critical tasks to ensure successful pipeline installations.In this role, you will:A typical day might include:Construction and maintenance of water and sewer infrastructureOperating plant and equipment including excavators, loaders, and cranesSupporting emergency and planned worksWorking safely in line with WHS standards and Council procedureWe're looking for a motivated team player who is willing to learn, grow, and contribute to the essential services our community relies on.What you'll bringTo be successful, you will have:Trade qualification or extensive experience in water/sewer constructionCompetency operating plant and equipment (e.g. excavator, loader,



VLC)A team player with a robust work ethic and commitment to safetyPhysically fit and willing to work outdoors and respond to urgent worksA Class C Driver Licence.What we offer?

(dependent on skills and experience)An allowance of $****** per week will also apply.
(Water Allowance)Location: Upon commencement your normal place of work will be the MidCoast Council's Depot located in Tuncurry, Grey Gum Road.
