About the Role
As Brooki expands from its Brisbane origins into an international brand with 200+ team members across retail, food production and global hubs in the UAE, the US, and the UK, our Head of People Experience holds strategic oversight and operational accountability for our end-to-end people ecosystem.
Based out of Brisbane, this executive role bridges high-level strategy with pragmatic execution, building scalable people systems, elevating employer branding, championing culture and maintaining strict employment governance.
Reporting directly to the Director of the business, your key responsibilities include:
Partner with executive leadership on global P&C; strategy, workforce planning, and compliance/payroll reporting while coaching the PCT Partner.
Oversee multi-site recruitment and onboarding across retail, Underwood central production, head office, global,



and drive campaigns on platforms such as: SEEK, LinkedIn and socials.
Manage hire-to-retire processes, lead workplace engagement and wellbeing, embed core values, and oversee employee relations with external advisers.
Design learning pathways, direct LMS adoption and establish succession planning and coaching frameworks.
Ensure full industrial compliance, govern the policy library and manage people technology.
About You
If you are the right person to enable Brooki's rapid international expansion, you will bring:
Proven people leadership experience supporting quick-growing multi-site retail, hospitality, or food manufacturing operations.
Expert knowledge of Australian employment law, Awards, Fair Work Act compliance and strict policy governance.
Technical proficiency across workforce platforms and payroll frameworks.
Strong track record in business scaling, multi-entity structures and setting up international people controls.
Commercial acumen balanced with a warm, approachable personality capable of connecting from front-line staff to executive levels.
Absolute discretion regarding employee data, strict adherence to safety, privacy standards, and alignment with Brooki's core values.
